Pearl Harbor Youth Day
When: Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 9:00AM – 3:30PM
Where: Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor
Pearl Harbor Youth Day will offer a unique opportunity for families and visitors of all ages to explore the lessons and legacy of WWII through special presentations, exhibits, and hands-on activities. Open to the public, this event focuses on youth to engage and educate them about the history of Pearl Harbor, and the impact on young people in Hawaii and throughout the Pacific.
Featured activities include:
• Special screening of “Under the Blood Red Sun” followed by a presentation and Q & A session with author
• Historical exhibits designed and created by local high school students
• Thematic tours of the Museum
• Costumed interpreters and historical demonstrations
Pearl Harbor Youth Day is free to students 18 years and younger, and free to Museum Members. The cost of bus transportation will be covered for school groups that register in advance for the event.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED ONLY FOR TEACHERS OR YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS THAT WOULD LIKE TO BRING A GROUP AND WANT TO APPLY FOR FUNDING ASSISTANCE FOR BUS TRANSPORTATION. Individuals or small groups do not need to register for this event.
