Daniel K. Inouye, the second most senior member of the U.S. Senate, is known for his distinguished record as a legislative leader, and as a World War II combat veteran with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, who earned the nation’s highest award for military valor, the Medal of Honor.

On Monday, April 12, 2010, a gala benefitting Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor was held honoring Senator Inouye who has played an integral role in the museum’s development to date. In addition, the night marked the announcement of a daunting undertaking, a $100 million capital campaign to complete the renovation and build out of the Pacific Aviation Musem Pearl Harbor campus, including the iconic control tower and remaining two historic hangars.

Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor is proud to present photos and video of this special evening as we honor Senator Daniel K. Inouye and his role in helping to make the Museum a world-class institution. We also welcome you to visit and support our sponsors in appreciation for their help in celebrating this event.
