Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor on historic Ford Island occupies World War II-era hangars that still bear the scars of our nation’s first aviation battlefield. Hangar 37 features diorama exhibits, rare aircraft such as a Japanese Zero, an F4F Wildcat, and a B-25 Mitchell Bomber, a film of the first attack, combat flight simulators, an aviation-themed Museum Store and restaurant.

Aviator's Tour, Tour-Guided Visit

Tour guides take you on an exciting journey into aviation history, bringing the aircraft and the battles alive with their stories. Visit the Lt. Ted Shealy Restoration Shop, see aircraft being restored, view the F-14 Tomcat, F-15 Eagle, Bell helicopters, and other vintage aircraft. A behind-the-scenes, more extensive look at the Museum's exciting collection.

To Visit the Museum:

Directions from Honolulu/Waikiki area:

    1. Begin by heading west on Ala Moana Blvd./Nimitz Highway
    2. Stay slight left to take Interstate H1 W ramp 0.1 mi
    3. Merge onto Interstate H1 W 3.1 mi
    4. Take exit 15A, 99 W Arizona Memorial, Stadium 0.1 mi
    5. Fourth traffic light, turn left Kalaloa St. 0.1 mi
    6. Arrive at Arizona Memorial Pl.
Visitor Center will be on your left. Tickets may be purchased at the USS Bowfin Ticket Office, adjacent to the USS Arizona Memorial. For those with Ford Island Gate access, follow directions 1-4, then turn left at fifth traffic light, Ford Island Blvd.

Directions after passing Security guard shack:
    1. Drive 1 mile over the new Adm Clarey bridge and causeway.
    2. Enter the roundabout , turning 270 degrees to the left and take 3rd exit onto Ford Island Parkway.
    3. Drive .7 M south paralleling Luke Field Runway 04 on your right.
    4. Turn left onto Enterprise St. at the Red & White Control Tower.
    5. Turn right onto Lexington Blvd.
    6. Turn right into the Pacific Aviation Museum

Dine in air conditioned comfort in our WWII themed Laniakea Café. Imagine life on historic 1940s Ford Island as the aviators in the Pacific may have experienced it. The best place to eat at Pearl Harbor features gourmet burgers and sandwiches, fresh island salads, ono (yummy) fries, daily special entrees such as stir fry, mahi mahi, pasta specialties, BBQ ribs and more.  Beer and wine, too. Serving breakfast and lunch, open 9:30am to 4:30pm daily.

"Fly" for freedom as a WWII Ace in a Wildcat or Zero aircraft. Dog fight with--or against--your buddies in the skies above Guadalcanal as you defend the Pacific. 15 minute flight time. Virtual flight includes flight briefing. Big fun!

Special Events:
The Museum has a private room that holds up to 120 guests for events. This room may be rented during regular Museum operating hours. For evening events the Museum may be used for special events from 100 to 600 inside the Museum, or up to 10,000 outside. Catering available or choose your own.
