Guided education tours and corresponding multi-disciplinary HCPS III aligned activities in Social Studies, History, Science, Math, Language, and Fine Arts bring to life aviation and the history that was made on Ford Island

Educational Opportunities for groups of 10 or more

Guided Museum Tour

Two hour guided multi-disciplinary education tour with accompanying HCPS III aligned activities, Grade three through college.
$8.00 each, including chaperones. Teachers are free. (Limit: 100 max. or 10 min.) Please divide your class up into groups of 15 students before you arrive.

Guided Museum Tour and Flight Lab

Three hour guided multi-disciplinary education tour through the museum and restoration shop which also includes a simulated flight in the Education Flight Lab with accompanying HCPS III aligned activities, Grade three through college.
$10.00 each, including chaperones. Teachers are free. (Limit: 40 max.) Please divide your class up into groups of 10 students before you arrive.

Keiki Air Cadets

One hour program especially designed for the younger aviators. Children ages five and six “fly” through the museum while learning about airplanes and flight.
$5.00 per each, including chaperones. Teachers are free. (For Children five to six years old—Limit: 10 max.)

Scout Outing

Boy and Girl Scouts enjoy a unique, two to three hour interactive experience of aviation history in Hawaii. Activities include a guided Tour, Flight Lab and Aviators' Lunch. Grades three through 12.
$8.00 per participant for guided Museum Tour (Grades three through 12/ adult) $10.00 per participant for guided Museum Tour with Flight Lab

Pre-order lunches available from Laniākea Café located in the Museum. Priced at $7.00 for a children’s meal including drink and dessert and $15.00 for a full meal including drink and dessert. Participants may bring their own lunches to eat in the Education Room.
Boy Scout Aviation Merit Badge and Girl Scout Aerospace Badge Program

Badge requirements fulfilled during a full day (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM) of hands-on activities. Specialized instruction, Flight Lab and tour providing an exciting way to learn about aviation science and history.
$15.00 per Scout (does not include lunch)
$10.00 per Scout Leader and/or chaperone.

Both Badges include Museum Guided tour; full day of instruction with materials, ground school, Pre-flight and Flight Lab experience. Pre-ordered lunches available from Laniākea Café located in the Museum. Priced at $7.00 for a light meal including drink and dessert and $12.00 for a full meal including drink. Participants may bring their own lunches to eat in the Education Room.
