The Aviator’s Tour takes you behind the scenes to the heart of the hangars that housed the aircraft and the heroes of the War in the Pacific.
Veteran docents take you on a journey through Hangar 37 and our newest attraction, Hangar 79, the Restoration Hangar. Hangar 79 is battlefield survivor that still bears the scars of the December 7, 1941 attack and features a 1940s Carrier Aircraft Service Unit rebuilt to wartime authenticity. You’ll see the restoration of aircraft using WWII tools. And view the aircraft awaiting restoration to join the Museum’s exciting collection.
