WWII Woman Airforce Service Pilot Bee Haydu to Speak At Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor

Little is known about the women who served their country as pilots during WWII, but Bernice “Bee” Haydu was one and proud of it. She'll share her stories of women who served as WASPs (Women Airforce Service Pilots) during the war, at the Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor lecture series entitled, "WASPs—Flying Into History."

Two appearances will be held at the Museum: Sunday, September 21 at 2PM with a book signing from 12 noon to 5pm; and Monday, September 22 at 7PM with a book signing at 3PM and after the presentation. Her book is entitled, Letters Home.

General admission: $14, adults; $7, children. Kama`aina and Military admission: $10 adults; $5, children. Admission is free to Museum members.
The Museum's restaurant, Laniakea Café will be open for dinner before the Monday evening presentation and during the Sunday presentation, also. The Museum Store will be open during both events, also.
