Take Stock in America
Located on Ford Island, in the heart of Pearl Harbor, Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor stewards the buildings, artifacts and stories of this WWII American Battlefield. Museum grounds incorporate two authentic WWII hangars and the iconic Ford Island Control Tower that weathered the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. Together, the buildings, with the exhibits and aircraft displayed inside, share a story of national resilience, patriotism and honor.
Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor is one of four special museums that combine to share the full story of Pearl Harbor. Using the “Bookends” of the war — the December 7th attack through to the September 2, 1945 treaty signing that ended WWII — Pearl Harbor museums and attractions provide the truly amazing unfolding story of WWII.
Take Stock in America is a very special funding initiative unveiled during the 75th commemoration of Pearl Harbor in December 2016. Its purpose is supporting the entire National Historic Site, including all four historic museums:
- The Arizona Memorial
- USS Bowfin Memorial
- Battleship Missouri Memorial
- Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor
To acknowledge your gift of $100, or more, you will receive a commemorative Stock Certificate suitable for framing. It signifies your “symbolic” purchase of a stock certificate, an investment in the stewardship of the entire Pearl Harbor region. Each stock certificate equates to a “virtual” and “symbolic” piece of Pearl Harbor.
